I`m working on a Red Pitaya project, where the goal is to output a certain PWM signal for a laser and acquire data from the inputs supplied by a detector.
As of now I decided to use C, because thats the only language I`ve got some experience in.
Now my question is if the following plan of how I want to solve this problem makes sense.
1) Create executable program with QT-creator with the APIs to connect to the Red Pitaya board.
2) Implement the code for the PWM generation (which i already have).
3) Acquire the signals from the inputs (with code i already have from the RP-documentation as well)
4) somehow make the acuired signals graphically visible.
I would really appreciate some advise as I`m really not sure how to start this project.
thats the Red Pitaya documentation with the codes I`ll use: https://gzhls.at/blob/ldb/b/c/0/e/0b1db ... f37a6a.pdf (i.e. waveform code is on page 155)
Thank you!!
Is this project possible?

Hello,
Since this is a HAM radio forum I recommend to ask this question in the Red Pitaya support forum.
