Neue Software von Pavel Demin für den Red Pitaya 14bit u. 16bit – Version 20200628
Pavel Demin hat ein neue Software-Version für den Red Pitaya 14bit und 16bit veröffentlicht.
So wie ich es in der Kürze der Zeit sehe, gibt es nur noch eine Version (Zip-File) für beide Systeme, hier sind sowohl die 14bit und 16bit Dateien enthalten. Über die Datei start.sh entscheide ich, welche Apps und für welches System (14bit/16bit) auf den jeweiligen Red Pitaya geladen wird.
Vielen Dank Pavel für Deine ausgezeichnete Arbeit und für die neue Version zum Red Pitaya.
Getting started 16bit Red Pitaya
- Download SD card image zip file (more details about the SD card image can be found at this link).
- Copy the contents of the SD card image zip file to a micro SD card.
- Optionally, to start the application automatically at boot time, copy its
start.shfile fromapps/sdr_transceiver_hpsdr_122_88to the topmost directory on the SD card. - Install the micro SD card in the STEMlab SDR board and connect the power.
- Install and run one of the HPSDR programs.

Heute habe ich die neue Software von Pavel installiert, läuft alles prima.
Folgende Beobachtung habe ich gemacht:
1. Die Steuerung meiner Bandpassfilter erfolgt über BCD-Code, beim Einschalten des Red Pitayas klappern diese kurz, bei der alten Version für ca. 1-2 Sekunden, da ich keine Pullup- bzw. Pulldown-Widerstände verbaut habe. Bei der neuen Version sind es ca. 40 Sekunden bis sich ein stabiler Zustand am BCD Ausgang des Red Pitayas einstellt. Mich würde interessieren wie es bei Euch ist.
2. Die CPU Auslastung in % unten links in PowerSDR zeigt bei mir mit der neuen Version ca. 5% weniger Auslastung an
